The American Solar Energy Society is based out of Boulder, Colorado, and is a non-profit organization whose focus is on furthering the uses of clean-energy power resources in the United States. By next year the company hopes to initiate production on a much larger scale, and they seek to employ 2,500 people at four factories by 2010.

All in all, Colorado’s energy business is the top in the nation; the state is the leader in the global movement of renewable energy. The state considers this new kind of energy output to be exactly what the next century needs. The green energy business has been highly lucrative for the state of Colorado, as well as being kind to the environment.
