How to cut your electric bill in half
If you were like me, I hated getting electric bills every month totally several hundreds of dollars. If you are sick of paying for power every month I am about to explain to you three simple ways to reduce your electric bill dramatically.
Second, change your attitude on what you consider an electronic appliance. Would you turn off the TV and the radio but leave your bedroom lights on? Its true, light is important, but only when you actually in the room. How about that ceiling fan in the guest bedroom that has been running with no one in there? How you use the appliances you have: Now most people complain that they have a high electric bill thinking that they have too many appliances. The real problem is how you are using them, not how many you have. Here is a quick list to save energy using the common power wasters in your house:
1. Only run the washing machine when it is totally full of clothes.
2. Only run your faucet as much as you need it when you are washing dishes or brushing your teeth.
3. Only set your air-conditioner to the minimum temperature it will take to keep you warm or cool depending on the weather.
4. Turn off your computer monitor when you are away from the computer even if you just get up to use the bathroom. It only takes a second to hit the power button but the savings will add up over the year.
Finally, stick to it. Don’t just follow these tips for a week and expect the results to last a lifetime. You have to practice these tips daily.
